Pest - Bees
Honeybees (or hive bees) are in the animalia kingdom, the arthropoda phylum, the insecta class, the hymenoptera order and the apoidea family. Beekeepers are sometimes called apiarists.
Africanized honeybee, sometimes called killer bee, African honey bee or Brazilian bee, is a quite new pest in U.S. and is a hybrid of one or several subspecies of European honey bee with African honey bee - Apis mellifera scutellata.
As it is not possible to distinguish Africanized bees (AHB) from European bees in the field, the best defense is stay away from all bee swarms and colonies in order to avoid bee bites.
If, unfortunately, Africanized honeybees are encountered, particular measures should be taken in order to avoid critical consequences. First best thing always is to run away as fast as possible! You should try to cover your face and neck with any kind of cloth such as coat, towel or at least pull your shirt up over your face. If possible, get into a building or vehicle.
