Cockroaches in the home environment are a health hazard not only because of the risks posed by cockroach antigens to asthma sufferers, but also because they can carry disease-causing terms and because some of the methods traditionally used to eliminate them cause additional health hazards.

Any home can have cockroaches. However, there are steps you can take to prevent cockroaches from becoming a problem in your home; identify the extent of and solutions to any potential cockroach problem; and reduce or eliminate cockroach problems.

Cockroaches, an obnoxious pest, are said to be able to survive a Nuclear Holocaust. They live, breed and spread diseases in warm, moist areas found in kitchens and food preparation areas. Food Poisoning, Salmonella, Hepatitis and Gastroenteritis are only some of the contaminating bacteria transmitted by these prolific breeders. Proven treatment is needed to control these insects which are breeding every 28 days, producing up to 40 offspring every time.

GERMAN COCKROACH
A comperatively small cockroach - never the less, it could be the cause of big problems. Most problems will bo of direct contact with humans, because german cockroach is able of transmitting salmonella, dysentery and hepatitis. This kind of particular pest rarely flies.

AMERICAN COCKROACH
The largest from known pest cockroaches and disease carriers. Usually breeds in sewers and grease traps. Prefers decaying organic matter. This kind of particual pest flies readily.

AUSTRALIAN COCKROACH
Quite similar in appearance to American but has more yellow markings. Inhabits roof and wall voids, green houses. Prefers plant origin food. Flies on occasion.
